Man nehme einige Zeitlinien vom Amerika der frühen 30er Jahre, eine Vielzahl Mafiosi, Ganoven und andere Schurken als Hauptcharaktere, fast genauso viele verschiedene Handlungsstränge und schüttle alles einmal kräftig durch... et voilá, man erhält Baccano! Einen Anime, der auf einem Light Novel von Ryougo Narita basiert und für dessen Illustrationen sich Katsumi Enami verantwortlich zeichnet.
